Halloween

Trick or Treat

These were a few of the kids in my neighborhood Halloween night - luckily, I had plenty of candy, there were no tricks played on me.

Never fear spoiling a child by making them too happy. Happiness is the atmosphere in which all good affections grow. - Thomas Bray

Eek! A ghost!

Singleton Community Center throws a Ghostly good time at Halloween Carnival!

oldestkidsone.JPG

Friday, October 21, the place to be was Singleton Community Center. There were plenty of ghost and goblins, but plenty of princesses and dragon slayers too. Kids from all around Bartlett came for the fun games, good time and free candy! The Maze of Terror Haunted House was open for kids ages 12 and up (see pics above). The Halloween Carnival has become a tradition in Bartlett and kids and grown ups alike take part in the costume contests. This may have been the best year yet. "The costumes get better and better every year," said Shan Chriswell, director at Singleton. "I do not envy the judges!"
